Jonathan specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence work for both claimants and defendants. He appears at court daily in trials, disposal hearings, interim applications, case management conferences and infant approval hearings.
Jonathan is currently instructed as a BB by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the multi-million pound Kenyan Emergency Group Litigation, brought by over 40,000 former ‘Mau Mau’ and related claimants in respect of their experiences in colonial Kenya during the 1950s. Jonathan has assisted in drafting defences, preparing cross-examination and case research.
He is experienced in providing advice on liability, quantum and drafting statements of case in relation to:
- Road traffic accidents
- Employers’ liability
- Occupiers’ liability
- Product liability
- Highways Act claims
- Animals Act claims
- Credit hire
Jonathan is happy to act on a conditional fee basis where appropriate.
Jonathan graduated with a First Class degree in Law from King’s College London and a Masters from New College, Oxford.
Outside of his practice, Jonathan enjoys long distance running, playing guitar and reading philosophy.
