Tom specialises in all kinds of matrimonial finance and children disputes. He is ordinarily involved in matters of greater complexity, but he is always pleased to act in more straightforward matters involving ancillary relief, trusts of land and property.

He is also regularly instructed by prosecuting authorities and other affected parties in matrimonial cases when there are inter-related proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

He is direct access trained and is always pleased to accept instructions from members of the public who choose to not have a solicitor.

  • Representing the Crown Prosecution Service in the Gohil litigation that has been before the Supreme Court and is now ongoing once more in the High Court
  • Representing the prosecuting authorities as intervener in ancillary relief proceedings involving criminal conduct and confiscation orders involving every imaginable type of financial wrongdoing
  • Representing a party where the ancillary relief claim was complicated by conduct involving his imprisonment for serious sexual offences
